Jeremy has performed as a professional musician for almost two decades, having performed in bands, ensembles and as a soloist in venues throughout the UK. With experience in classical, rock and flamenco guitar, he brings energy a funkalicious riffs to DB funk’s repertoire that keeps the dance floor filled the whole night.
For 16 years, Gillian has been a professional singer, performing on major stages across the UK. She has played the headline stage at Belladrum Festival and performed at the renowned Celtic Connections Festival, sharing her passion for music with incredible audiences. Her journey is filled with unforgettable performances and a deep love for storytelling through song.
Judith has always sung for the joy of it. She has sung in a wide variety of styles and situations from formal choral singing to working with childrens’ choirs to singing traditional Gaelic songs accompanied by ukulele. She has joined a Funk band on the main stage at Belledrum Festival and provided solo vocals for an Irish Dancing show. Judith was therefore delighted to be accepted to sing with the hugely talented musicians of the current line up of dBFunk bringing high quality musicianship alongside collaborative creative processes to keep the fun in the funk!
Kenny has been playing bass guitar since the late 70's. He brings a wealth of gigging and recording experience from playing in covers and wedding bands in Aberdeen, London and Edinburgh. He has recorded two albums and two EP's with Edinburgh outfit Gilchrist and now records and performs with G-Funk in East Lothian. His passion for funk and disco music is evident from the fantastic low end grooves he plays for the floor filling funk supremos dB Funk.
Hammy has been playing drums for nearly 30 years primarily in hard rock and metal bands. He has played hundreds of gigs across the UK and across Europe. Some notable festival appearances include the Pepsi Max stage at Download Festval, and multiple appearances on the Sophie stage at Bloodstock. Hammy loves to play disco and funk as an aside to his other band Ramage Inc which is an ambient metal project, therfore utilising his full range of abilities.
Ian has been entertaining live audiences for over 20 years including performances at the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival and the Great British R & B Festival. He brings experience from funk bands Uberjuice, The Dirty Martinis and Groove Nation to deliver high energy funk and disco to the dancefloor with dB Funk. Ian also plays with the blues band Rosy Blue and AGL and the Alchemists.
